Dennis James “DeeJ” Dishman, age 45, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born March 25, 1976 in Gaithersburg, Md., he was the son of Lucy Deborah Robinson Cox, of Berkeley Springs and the late James Elbert Cox.

He was of the Anglican faith.

DeeJ was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and for more than 20 years, worked as a contractor with Dominion Power.

He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483.

He loved to spend time with his family, especially his children. DeeJ liked to tinker with cars.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ronnica Kay Mincher Dishman, at home; his children, Ethan Dennis James Dishman, Willow Grace Dishman and Willie Frelon Grover Nutter, all at home; three sisters, Nina Ruppenthal and Brooke Cox, both of Berkeley Springs and Kylee Cox of Hedgesville, W.Va.; one brother, Richard Cox, of Berkeley Springs; his in-laws, Wilford and Marsha Rhodes Mincher, of Berkeley Springs and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Services and interment will be private.
