Dennis Green
1947-2021
It is with great sadness the family of Dennis “Larry” Green, 74, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. announce his passing on Saturday, December 18th, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md.
He was born on June 19th, 1947, in Hagerstown, Md. to the late Grace E. Green and A. Robert Green of Smithsburg, Md.
Larry served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a Jet Aircraft Mechanic.
He was a General Foreman of the Cast House at Eastalco Aluminum, Frederick, Md. prior to his retirement.
He loved spending time with his sons & brothers hunting, fishing and camping. He also spent time with his grandchildren, his cats, trying his hand at oil painting and was a member of the NRA. He had a big, big heart and will be sadly missed.
Larry is survived by his wife Sue, sons Ronald “Ronnie” Green and Richard “Rick” Green & wife Tracy; stepsons Michael Vannari, Nicky Vannari & wife Jamie and the late Joey Vannari; sisters Sharon Harshman and Bev Miller & husband Tom; brothers Robert “Rob” Green & wife Kay and James “Jim” Green & wife Vicki; granddaughter Heather Green and step-grandson Dominic Vannari; and many nieces & nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life service held for family and close friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Morgan County, PO Box 705, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
