Chance Tylor Morris
Chance Tylor Morris, 26 years young, of Fredericksburg, Va., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday September 23, 2021.
Chance was employed as a landscaper for Brightview, alongside his older brother, Gage.
He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin and friend. He was kind, loving, strong, free spirited and touched the lives of many. He could light up the room and make everyone laugh.
Chance enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his sons, spending time with family and friends and just living life to the fullest. He also had a passion for snakes.
Chance was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, “Mom” Susan Peck, (Warfordsburg, Pa).
Chance is survived by his mother, Jenny Koontz (Fredericksburg, Va.); father, Steven (Jolene) Morris (Martinsburg, W.Va.); sister, Courtney (Wally) Lamb (Colonial Beach, Va.), sister, Santana Schetrompf (Hancock, Md.), brother, Dakota Morris (Greencastle, Pa.), sister, Stevi Morris (Clear Spring, Md.) and sister, Martyna Morris (Martinsburg, W.Va.). Chance will continue to live on through his two precious sons, Brayden Morris and Bentley Hayes, both of Fredericksburg, Va. Chance also leaves behind his beloved nieces, whom he had a strong bond with, Jenni Koontz, Fentin Lamb and Lee Lee Lamb, all of Colonial Beach, Va., nephew, Prestin Nixon, of Clear Spring, Md.; his surviving grandparents, several cousins, aunts and uncles.
We will forever miss his smile and quirky jokes, his heart of gold and his willingness to be there for others. We will find peace knowing that he is smiling down from heaven and is with our loved ones that have gone before him.
A celebration of Chance’s life will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 8096 Leedstown Rd, Colonial Beach, Va. 22443, on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 3 p.m.
