Carol Jackalee Harbaugh, age 78, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at The Berkeley Springs Center.

Born October 31, 1942 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry Wesley and Beulah Margaret Walls Mowery.

She was a Christian.

Carol was a 1960 class graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.

She worked on the dis-assembly line at Rayloc, Inc., in Hancock, Md. and had been a homemaker in recent years.

Carol was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #1311 in Berkeley Springs.

She enjoyed gardening, word searches, watching westerns, going on bus trips, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her lifelong companion, Donald Lee Miller of Cross Junction, Va., her children, Wesley Todd Mowery, Lonnie Jay Harbaugh, and Keith Wayne Harbaugh, Sr. all of Berkeley Springs, Tammy Lynne Barth of Suffolk, Va., and Leonard Frank Harbaugh, Jr. of Martinsburg, W.Va., three brothers, Terry Lee Mowery of California, Jack Thomas Mowery of Ohio, Stephen Harry Mowery of Berkeley Springs, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Jean Spring and two brothers, Donald Richard Mowery and Larry Wesley Mowery.

Services and private burial will be in Alpine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol’s memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
