Brian Christopher Malinowski, Sr., age 37, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., died on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
Born October 7, 1984 in Chestertown, Md., he was the son of William Robert Shockley, Jr. of Dover, Del. and Tammy Jean Malinowski Robbins of Great Cacapon, W.Va.
He was a Christian.
Brian was a graduate of North Dorchester High School, Hurlock, Md.
He worked with Asplundh Tree Service.
He was a true outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time with his children.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner, Harlie Stotler, at home; six children, Seacret Isabel of Tennessee, Serenity Starr Malinowski of Denton, Md., Jaxston Stotler, Brian Christopher “Junny” Malinowski, Jr., Braxston Marshall Malinowski and Brilie Malinowski, all of Great Cacapon; two brothers, Samuel Shockley and “Bill Bill” Shockley, both of Dover, Del.
He was preceded in death by one brother Christopher Shockley, Jr.
The family received friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations to help defray funeral expenses may be made to Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
