Boyd Price Farris
1926-2021
Boyd Price Farris, age 95, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., died on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at The Berkeley Springs Center LLC.
Born June 23, 1926 in Great Cacapon, W.Va., he was the son of the late Boyd Price and Nellie Divelbliss Farris.
He was a member of Love Assembly of God in Berkeley Springs.
He was a graduate of Paw Paw High School.
Mr. Farris worked with Western Union Telegraph, the West Virginia Department of Highways and was an electrician during the construction of the General Motors Plant in Martinsburg.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Lee Pittman, of Needmore, Pa., and Joy Denise Gregory, of Great Cacapon and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee Hiles on April 1, 1987; one daughter, Brenda Kay Fletcher and one sister, Betty Whisner.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Love Assembly of God, 31 Buzzard Acres Lane, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with Pastor Dave Kidwell officiating. Interment will be private.
