Arthur Wilbur Canoles
1950-2021
Arthur Wilbur “Artie” Canoles, age 71, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. died on August 15, 2021 at his home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born July 7, 1950 in Keyser, W.Va., he was the son of the late Henry Baker, Sr. and Leona Lorretta Smith Canoles.
He attended Boonsboro High School.
He was in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Lea Green Canoles, two sons, Brian Canoles and his companion Maya Heinbaugh of Berkeley Springs, Nathaniel Canoles and wife Kara of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., four brothers, Dewey Edward Canoles of N.C., Henry B Canoles, Jr of Berkeley Springs, Leslie Dean Canoles of Berkeley Springs and Dennis Lee Canoles of Ranson, W.Va., one granddaughter, Ashley Hoffman of Winchester, Va. one great grandson Maverick Hoffman of Winchester, Va.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Laura Lynn Saville.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Greenwood United Methodist Church, 12031Winchester Grade Road, Berkeley Springs, with Pastor Lloyd McCanna officiating. Burial will be private.
