Wolves wrestling pick up three dual wins

Last week the Warm Springs Middle School Wolves Wrestling Team continued their strong season picking up two dual wins at home and then another one on the road.

The Wolves hosted the Preston Squires and Petersburg Vikings on eighth grade recognition night last Wednesday, March 24.
Warm Springs defeated Preston 51-24 and Petersburg 51-6. Going 2-0 for the Wolves were Aiden Cain, Daniel Clark, Chase Stotler, Evan Zombro and Krystain Norris. Picking up one win were Haven Ailor, Jacob Morgan, Jordan Unger and Willow Rhoten.

The Wolves traveled to West Fairmont Middle School for a quad match with West Fairmont, Musselman and Oak Glen on Sunday March 28.

In the first match the Wolves lost to Oak Glen 54-27.

Next up the Wolves faced off with Eastern Panhandle rival Musselman for the third time this season. Both teams had split the first two match ups and this time the Wolves picked up a dominating 54-24 win over the Applemen.

In the final match the Wolves took on the West Fairmont Polar Cubs and lost 42-36 due to two forfeits.

Going 3-0 for the Wolf Pack were Stotler, Cain, Kollin Sullivan and Zombro. Going 2-1 were Clark, Morgan, Norris and Gabe Gusciora.
Warm Springs will be back on the road again on Saturday, April 3 as they head to Braxton County Middle School for another quad meet starting at 10 a.m.
