Vickie L. Stohl
1962-2020
Vickie Lynn Stohl, 57, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born July 18, 1962 at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Marion Ellis and Barbara Elizabeth Wills Reeves.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs.
She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She was a homemaker. She was a philanthropist and active in local charities. She was an avid reader, liked rummage sales and markets.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leonard Carl Stohl, Sr., at home; her children, Leonard Stohl, Jr., Elizabeth Stohl, Regis Stohl, Jacqueline Stohl and Klay Stohl, all of Berkeley Springs; her sister, Terri Lankford, China Springs, Texas; her brothers, Dale Trail and Walter Trail, Jr., both of Hedgesville; four grandchildren, Ayden Stohl, Luke Stohl, Rosalie Stohl and Ava Hannon, all of Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jason Stohl.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 27 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 67 Liberty Street, Berkeley Springs. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, Wednesday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
