Any business or non-profit in Hancock looking to increase their community engagement, economic development, and holiday spirit can apply for a $200 Holiday Hancock Grant.
The application for businesses or non-profit is located on the Town of Hancock, Md. Facebook page, in person at Town Hall, or and townofhancock.org at the top of the page. The deadline to apply is December 4 at 3:30 p.m.
Only businesses and non-profits within the 21750 zip code are eligible for the grant.
If the application were approved, the town would send an email approving the products or services mentioned in the application.
Decorations should be installed no later than December 9.
Submission of receipts and invoices should be before December 21 in order to receive reimbursement.
The date of receipts must show the expense occurred after the application was approved. The town will disburse the grant amount, up to $200, once the receipts and invoices are approved.
