Town election is next Monday

Voters in the Town of Hancock will select two council members and a mayor next Monday, January 28 during polling hours at the Town Hall.

Polls will be open at the Town Hall and Community Center at 146 West High Street from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday.

Seeking the office of mayor are current mayor Ralph Salvagno and former councilman Nigel Dardar. Hancock’s mayor serves for two years.

Two seats on the town council, currently held by Councilman Levi Little and Tim Smith, are up for election. There are five candidates for a four-year term on the council. Little and Smith are seeking re-election and are joined on the ballot by Preston Hall, Roland Lanehart Jr. and David Kerns.
