Ronald Lee Ramer, age 38, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

Born February 2, 1982 in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of Richard Lee Ramer of Pennsylvania and Debra Kay Trumpower Norris of Hancock, Md.

He was a member of Grace Point Church in Hedgesville, W.Va.

He was a graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg, Pa.

Ron worked as a heavy equipment operator with Pleasants Construction Company in Clarksburg, Md. for the past eight years.

He collected arrowheads, knives and guns. He loved to go mushroom hunting and collected antiques and historical artifacts.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 14 years, Rhonda Lee Everitt Ramer, at home; his step-father, Charles “Chuck” Norris of Hancock; two step-children, Kayla Dawn Souders and her husband Buck and Brandon Eugene Fleece and his partner Morgan Cain, all of Berkeley Springs; three grandchildren, Madison, Hunter and Presley Souders, all of Berkeley Springs; one sister, Kim Henry and her husband Steve of Berkeley Springs; one brother, Donald Ramer and his partner Mary Basore of Hedgesville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Grace Point Church, 889 Providence Church Road, Hedgesville, W.Va. where friends may come from 1-2 p.m. on Friday. Pastor Jerry Fletcher will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Point Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
