Hancock in Motion is going to be having a “Country Party” this weekend as they host Rockin’ the Woods on Saturday, October 13 at Kirkwood Park. Gates for the event open at 2 p.m. with music starting at 4 p.m.
Organizers said people can dance in the field or under the pavilion in the dance area.
There is going to be a bonfire, food, corn hole, tip jars, raffle, and a 50/50.
Taking the stage this year will be Cody Wickline who appeared on “The Voice” and was part of Team Blake during season eight, Chris Woodward & Shindiggin, and national recording artist Carter Winter.
Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome for seating and organizers remind people attending the event that fall evenings may be a little cool.
Organizers remind people that coolers, cups, or drinks are not allowed to be brought in to the park.
ID must be shown when entering, organizers said.
