Richard L. Fishel, Sr.
1960-2020
Richard Lee Fishel, Sr. 59, of Paw Paw, died Saturday, February 15, 2020 at his home.
He was born December 6, 1960 at Cumberland, Md. and was the son of the late Ray Johnson Fishel and Ruby Madeline Miller Fishel.
He was a graduate of Paw Paw High School, where he is remembered as being an excellent player on the basketball team.
He did block masonry work.
He liked the water and beach.
He is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Garrett, Capon Bridge and Holly Fishel, Cumberland, Md.; one son, Richard Fishel, Jr., Paw Paw; one brother, Randy Fishel, Paw Paw and five grandchildren, Savannah Garrett, Mason Fishel, Scarlet Garrett, Aubrie Covalt and Don Smith II.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, Wednesday, February 19 at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, where a funeral service will be conducted by Paster Earl Travis on Thursday, February 20 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Woodrow Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were by Kimble Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
