The Paw Paw Lady Pirates Volleyball Team kicked off their 2018 season with a game at Lighthouse Christian Academy in Cumberland, Md. on Thursday, August 30.
Paw Paw took the first set 25-22, but saw Lighthouse Christian rally back to take the final three games (25-6, 25-10 and 25-13) to pick up the win.
Paw Paw was led by Laken Day with eight service points and three aces. Hana Hendrickson had six service points, Halle Galliher had five service points and one ace and Alexis Barker had five service points, two aces and one kill.
Paw Paw traveled to Hancock on Tuesday, September 4 for a JV and Varsity contest with the Lady Panthers.
