Paw Paw residents netted in Hampshire drug raid

Two female residents of Paw Paw were among 10 people arrested last Thursday night, July 9, in a drug raid near Slanesville in Hampshire County.

Officers from multiple police agencies converged on a home north of Route 29 off Critton Owl Hollow Road, having been alerted that a wanted individual was at the residence.

Cerefino Delgado, 34, had outstanding warrants for malicious wounding and burglary.

When officers arrived, they caught Delgado, who tried to flee on foot.

Police said the residence had been the site of numerous arrests and drug overdoses.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the property. Police said they found “a large quantity” of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Among those arrested was Gabrielle A. Collins, 29, of Paw Paw who was charged with possession with the intent to deliver drugs, conspiracy and being a fugitive from justice.

Jessica L. Lynch, 37, of Paw Paw was also charged with possession with the intent to deliver and conspiracy.

Others charged were Gary Gray, Jr. of Essex, Md., Bruina Clark of Baltimore, Michael Keener Jr. of Shanks, Daion Finch of Baltimore, Robbie Whetzel of Charleston, Robert Stachow of Shanks and Lily Keener of Shanks.

Hampshire County Sheriff’s Senior Deputy Jacob Crites is the lead investigator in the case.
