Need help signing up for the COVID vaccine?

Registration event set for Saturday in Hancock

The Town of Hancock will offer local residents assistance with registering for the COVID-19 vaccine. At this time, residents of Maryland age 65 and older are eligible to register.

The Hancock Works! Workspace at Town Hall will be available with computers and internet access from 8-12 a.m. this Saturday, January 30.

It is our understanding that all registration must be made online. The only information needed is your name, date of  birth and preferred method of communication  (email or phone).

Masking and social distancing are required to participate in registration  assistance.

This is not a vaccine clinic.

It is anticipated that, once registered, vaccines will be available in 2-4 weeks. At this time, we are not aware of any plans to offer vaccine shots in the Hancock. All shots are being given at Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown.

The Town of Hancock is working with county and hospital officials to secure a  vaccination clinic in Hancock but as or yet, no definite plans have been made.
