The first state championship tournament was held for the fall sports season last Tuesday and Wednesdat, October 6 and 7. Oglebay Golf Resort in Wheeling hosted the Class A, AA and AAA State Golf Championships. Despite the setbacks of the pandemic there were state titles on the line and athletes ready to capture them.
Berkeley Springs High School senior Jordan Miller was the lone member of the Indians golf team who qualified for the state championships. Over the two days of competition Miller shot a 93 both days for a final score of 186 to finish tied for 19th in the state tournament.
