Mary Jane Morton, 91, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit and formerly of Big Cove Tannery, Pa. died Monday, December 14, 2020 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, Pa.

She was born in Ayr Township, Pa. on April 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Minerva (Mellott) and Chalmer Cutchall. She was the widow of Jack H. Morton whom she married on June 9, 1948 and he died May 28, 2006.

She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Big Cove Tannery, Pa. Fulton Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, #519 in McConnellsburg, VFW Post #655 Auxiliary in McConnellsburg and the Grease, Steam and Rust Association in McConnellsburg.

She owned and operated the Big Cove Dairy Farm with her husband from 1959 to 2003.

She is survived by daughter Carol Morton Tebo, Big Cove Tannery; son Jack H. Morton, II, Big Cove Tannery; brother Robert Cutchall, of Mercersburg, Pa.; grandchildren Shawn Seville, Cole Seville, Kimberly Bunch, Jamie Bivens and Taylor Morton; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughter Kay Seville and brother Charlie Cutchall.

Funeral services and interment at Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg, will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in care of Karen Shives, Treasurer, 364 Ravensburg Road McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
