Mamie Ruth Bradshaw
1938-2021
Mamie Ruth (Mellott) Bradshaw, age 82, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Doey’s House, in Hagerstown, Md.
Born August 15, 1938, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ross and Florence (Miller) Mellott.
She was the widow of Donald R. Bradshaw, whom she was married to for sixty-three years, and who passed away on April 29, 2019.
She was a 1956 graduate of Southern Fulton High School.
She had been employed by Sagner Manufacturing, in McConnellsburg, Pa.; and then retired after 20 years of employment at London Fog, in Hancock, Md.
She loved spending time with her family, and had a special bond with her great-grandson, Malichi.
She enjoyed the beach and going to yard sales.
She was survived by a daughter, Donna Exline and her companion, John; two grandsons, Kenny Exline and his wife, Carol, and Matthew Exline and his wife, Ashley; a great-grandson, Malichi Sudol; three step-great-grandchildren, Carter, Alyssia and Arielle, all of Warfordsburg, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, William (Billy) Bradshaw; and a sister, Velma Souders.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 5 until 8 p.m., at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m., on Thursday, August 5, 2021, with visitation for one hour prior to the services. Pastor Lyle Mellott will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Christian Cemetery, in Warfordsburg.
