Lynne A. Richards
1944-2018
Lynne Ann Richards, age 74, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born May 19, 1944 in Hyattsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Chester Shinn Bailey and Viola Hilda Miller Bailey.
She was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
Lynne earned her LPN degree from James Rumsey and worked with Tri-State Community Health Center, in Hancock, Md., until her retirement.
She loved animals, nature and dogs. Lynne was devoted to her family.
Surviving are her children, Erin Marie Warrender and her husband Jim of Tyrone, Pa., Brendan Bailey Richards and his wife Holly of Fredericksburg, Va., John Edward Richards III and his wife Wilma, Casey Lyn Younker and her husband Bill, and Rebecca Ann Dudash and her husband Bobby, all of Berkeley Springs; her companion, Bob Dugan of Berkeley Springs; her sister, Rubiefern Bailey of Breezewood, Pa.; her brother, John Lawrence Bailey of Richmond, Va.; 15 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wayne Bailey. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Calvary Bible Church, 2065 Valley Road, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with Pastor B.J. Worley officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the church.
