1946-2020

Lonnie Eugene “Loose Screw” Keller, 73, of New Jersey, formally of Berkeley and Jefferson counties, died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Samaritan Healthcare Center, Voorhees, N.J. while under Hospice care.

Born June 20, 1946 in Butler, Tenn., he was the son of the late Warren Jeneral and Anna Magdalene Laws Keller.

He was of Baptist faith.

He was a long distance truck driver for approximately 52 years.

He liked old cars and country music.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl A. McMerris Keller of New Jersey; seven daughters, Peggy Blattner, Berkeley Springs, Sandy Gsell, Martinsburg, Sherri Hutchinson, Virginia “Maggie” Weigle and Barbara Gloyd all of Great Cacapon, Mary Keller of New Jersey and Annie Keller of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, Jerrica Cox, Ryan Miller, Phillip and Michael Gsell, Robert and Brandon Jenkins, Juanita and Kara Weigle and Jenna Gloyd, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, James Gloyd, Jr.; four brothers, Fred, Claude, Frank and Paul Keller and five sisters, Maude, Shirley and Carolyn Keller, Helen Keller Long and Barbara Keller Whitting.

The family will receive friends at the End of Life Celebration on Saturday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at the Moose Lodge #1483 in Berkeley Springs. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements were made by Alsia Funeral Home, LLC, Garfield, N.J.
