The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department last Friday arrested a Berkeley Springs man ahead of two downtown rallies, charging him with making threats of terrorist acts.
Cpl. Scott Lemon charged David F. DeGraw, 55, of Cloverleaf Court with the felony charge after investigating DeGraw’s online activities surrounding a planned Black Lives Matter rally set for August 21.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Morgan County Magistrate Court, DeGraw posted in late July 
Police reported that DeGraw threatened “BLM and ANTIFA,” posting “I see you I’m gonna kill you. Not fight not argue. Kill you…”
According to court records, police found that DeGraw on August 17 and August 19 made threats related to the rally, saying he would be armed and ready “to put a stop to this.”
Police also found that McGraw had posted a photo of his motorcycle in a parking lot earlier in August in southern Morgan County. The handlebars showed a soft rifle case, which indicated to police he was a firearms owner.
Deputy Luke Shambaugh arrested McGraw on Friday afternoon on a warrant. He was released later on $2,500 bail.
