1955-2018
Lindsay Herbert Bohrer, 63, of Berkeley Springs, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born March 10, 1955 at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, he was the son of the late Herbert Hoover and Betty Lou Shade Bohrer.
He was a member of the Chapel of Praise.
He was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and had worked for years as a propane deliveryman with Blue Flame, Inc.
He then formed his own business On Time Fuel, delivering kerosene and heating oil, as well as deliverying produce for Mark Glascock.
He was a member of Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post #60 in Berkeley Springs.
He liked hunting, fishing, farming, mowing and in general liked to work.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Kathryn Janet Spriggs Bohrer, at home; two children, Lindsay “Herbie” Bohrer, Berkeley Springs and Christina Bohrer, Martinsburg; one sister, Robin Weigle, Berkeley Springs; two grandchildren, Destiny Bohrer, Berkeley Springs and Landon Harner, Martinsburg and three nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, June 30 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
Pastors Jack Hiles, Steve Dawson and Doug Hoffman will be officiating.
Interment will be private.
