The Paw Paw Lady Pirates Varsity Volleyball Team recorded an impressive 3-1 win over the Union Tigers on Monday, September 14.
In game one Union took the 25-18 win, however, Paw Paw rallied and won the next three games by scores of 25-10, 25-20 and 25-11.
The Lady Pirates were led by Halle Galliher (18 service points and six aces), Janae Hott (13 service points and two aces), Addison Ross (11 service points, eight aces and seven kills) and Alexis Barker (five service points, two aces and five kills). In middle school action Paw Paw rolled to a 2-0 win over Union Middle by scores of 25-6 and 25-23. Lydia Ross (12 service points), Kayle Lamonds (eight service points) and Shayla Tanouye (six service points) led the Lady Pirates in the win.
The middle school junior varsity and varsity squad fell to the visiting Capon Bridge Bobcats on Friday, September 18.
