Kyong Cha Hare

1944-2021

Kyong Cha Hare, 76, of Bunker Hill, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at her home.

She was born August 15, 1944 in Incheon, South Korea, and was the daughter of the late Kum Dal Somg and Im Soon (Yum) Somg.

Over the years, she worked for Consolidated Orchard Company in Paw Paw, VDO in Winchester, Dixie Narco in Ranson and she retired from ABEX in 2008. She was always there for her family.

Her grandchildren were her sunshine and gave her the strength to keep going. She will be missed by all.

On May 4, 1966, she married Eugene Paul Hare, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Robert “Bobby” Hare, of Winchester, Va. and Gary Hare (& wife, Stacy) of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; one daughter, Kimberly Baldwin (& husband, Kenny) of Bunker Hill; six grandchildren, Zack, Trenton, Darien, Terrence, Spencer and Jacob; one great-grandson, Adrien and a brother and two sisters still living in South Korea.

Her body has been cremated and a celebration of her life is being planned for a later date.
