Judith A. Velez
1947-2020
Judith A. Diehl Velez, 73, of Williamsport, Md., formerly of Hancock, died on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Doey’s House, Hagerstown, Md.
She was born July 26, 1947 in Berkeley Springs, to the late John Courtney, Sr. and Willadean Courtney.
She is survived by her children, Melodie Deshong, Fort Littleton, Pa., and David Joseph Diehl II, Hagerstown, Md.; four grandchildren, Levi, Dakota, Alec and Abigail Deshong; three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Marie Christina Robinson and Debra Bellon, both ofâHagerstown.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, John Courtney, Jr.
She liked bowling and cooking.
She was a member of Covenant Life Church, Hagerstown.
Burial will be private.
Harman Funeral Home of Hagerstown, was in charge of the arrangements.
