Joseph Hrivnak
1935-2020
Joseph Hrivnak, age 85, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020.
He was born January 2, 1935 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, son of Martin and Susan Hrivnak. He was married to Shirley Thompson on January 27, 1956.
He worked at Bethlehem Steel and also worked as a carpenter including work for Coolfont Resort.
He previously lived in Johnstown and Bedford, Pennsylvania.
He was a naturalist who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and animals. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and going to flea-markets and yard sales.
He is survived by his spouse Shirley Hrivnak of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; his daughter, Deborah Frank and son-in-law Joe Frank of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his daughter, Terry Bellissimo and son-in-law Robert Bellissimo of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and his son, Joseph Hrivnak and daughter-in-law Kelly Hrivnak of Hopewell, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Robby Bellissimo, Anthony Bellissimo, Kayla Swope, Tyler Hrivnak and Tim Frank. He had three great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
