Jordin Demarinis chosen to study in Hawaii

Jordin Demarinis, an upcoming senior at Berkeley Springs High School, will represent West Virginia in Hawaii this summer in a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to study plant and animal science. She is one of only 10 students chosen nationwide and the first to ever be chosen from West Virginia. She will be participating in many fields of study such as Botanical Science, Veterinary Science, Entomology, Hydroponics, Conservation and Agricultural Resources. She will be working hands on with some of the top specialists in their fields of study in many locations in Hawaii.
