Jon D. Linaweaver
1970-2021
Jon David Linaweaver 50, born in Berkeley Springs on July 2, 1970, died in Martinsburg on March 3, 2021.
He is the son of the late Chester “Jeff” and Catherine Maxine (Frock) Linaweaver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Donna Jean Linaweaver, Patricia Garcia, Vicki Miller and Dwan Linaweaver.
He is survived by siblings Craig and Jeffrey Linaweaver, Karen Swisher, Pamela Frock, Janice Disasi and brother-in-law Ignace “Iggy” Disasi. He has many nieces and nephews and great nephews.
Employed by P&B Intermodal, Jon worked as a lead mechanic. Enjoying all forms of construction and car repair, he built his own home and also restored antique cars.
Jon is practically Morgan County-famous for his generosity to his friends and family; giving freely of his money, time and handyman expertise.
We have lost a giant-hearted, red-headed, short-tempered, hard-working, sweetheart of a man. Per his wishes, there will be no funeral. However, a memorial service will be announced for later in the Spring.
