John V. Froebe
John Vincent Froebe, age 47, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 4, 1973 in Falls Church, Va., he was the son of Carol Joan Everett Froebe of Berkeley Springs and the late William Irvin Froebe.
He was a member of Hub City Vineyard Church in Hagerstown, Md.
He was a 1992 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and worked as a field engineer with Verizon.
He was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics Council #117 in Berkeley Springs.
John was an avid Washington Redskins and Ohio State Buckeye fan.
He enjoyed woodworking, coaching girls’ softball, taking care of his family and helping others.
He was a devoted husband and father.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kelly Lynn Campbell Froebe, at home; two daughters, Morgan Ashley Dawn Froebe of Cascade, Md. and Harper Ashlyn Grace Froebe of Berkeley Springs; one sister, Karen Frances Reed and her husband Mark, of Berkeley Springs; one step sister, Lori Sue Froebe of Escondido, Calif.; two step brothers, William Irvin Froebe, Jr. and Steven Froebe, both of San Diego, Calif.; three nieces, Natalie Nicole Saunders of Huntington, W.Va., Vanessa Caroline Reed and Rachel Renee Reed, both of Berkeley Springs and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. where the family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Minister Roger Stotler will officiate. Interment will be private.
