James E. Whittington
1942-2020
James Edward Whittington, 78, of Charles Town, died Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born February 14, 1942 in Piedmont, he was the son of the late Ernest Garrett and Erma Ilene Oldaker Whittington.
He was a member of Love Assembly of God Church in Berkeley Springs.
He was a graduate of Westernport Public Schools.
He was a Seaman Apprentice with the United States Navy. He was a creative artist and liked drawing, painting and animals.
He is survived by his three children, Pamela Blomberg, Berkeley Springs, Rebecca Calandrino, Digmans Ferry, Pa. and Christa Gesicki, Emmaus Pa.; one brother, Robert Whittington, Ridgeley; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
