Jack B. Wink

1937-2020

Jack B. Wink, 83, of Berkeley Springs, died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Washington, D.C. Veterans Hospital.

He was born in Needmore, Pa. on July 2, 1937, a son of the late Elizabeth Schooley and John Wink.

He served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the American Legion in Berkeley Springs and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hancock, where he also was a custodian for 20 years.

He liked to hunt, fish and play music with his fiddle.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte L. Smith Wink whom he married May 14, 1988; one daughter, Cheryl Stevenson of Florida; one son, Steve Wink of Florida; one step-son, Darin Hess of North Carolina; one sister, Carol Green of Virginia; two brothers, Larry Wink of North Carolina and James Wink of Florida; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Rodger Wink and one granddaughter, Sophia Wink.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
