Irene J. Meyers
1948-2020
Irene Jean Bullett Meyers, 72, of Paw Paw, died Monday, August 3, 2020 at UPMC Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland, Md.
Born February 23, 1948 at Paw Paw, she was the daughter of the late James Bullett and Thelma Bullett Meade and the stepdaughter of the late Fred Meade.
She worked at Crown Cork and Seal and Lear Corporation in Winchester, Va. and Schmidt’s Baking Company in Cumberland and was a member of the Paw Paw Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Curry, Paw Paw; one son, Earl “Buttons” Meyers II, Paw Paw; three sisters, Brenda Cartwright, Winchester, Va., Connie Johnson, Alverdo, Texas and Elaine Trice, McConnellsburg, Pa.; three brothers, Ralph Bullett, Champion, Ohio, Leonard Bullett, Paw Paw and Michael Bullett, St. Robert, Mo.; two grandchildren, Alicia Meyers and De’Anndrea Julian and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl D. “Buster” Meyers on August 31, 2019 who she married on March 5, 1966.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 8 at Paw Paw Church of Christ. Evangelist Richard White officiated. Interment was at Camp Hill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were by Kimble Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
