Indians volleyball pick up three wins

The Berkeley Springs High School Lady Indians Varsity Volleyball Team picked up their first wins of the season with a doubleheader sweep of Petersburg and Elkins last Monday, September 10.
Berkeley Springs took an impressive 2-1 win over the home team Petersburg Lady Vikings. In the other match up Berkeley Springs swept Elkins 2-0. With those two wins the Lady Indians were finally able to break through and get into the win column for the 2018 season.
The Lady Indians traveled to Hancock, Md. on Thursday, September 13 for a “Battle of the Potomac” rivalry game with the Lady Panthers. In a volleyball contest that saw the two team’s battle back and forth to a 2-2 tie after four sets. In the fifth and deciding set Berkeley Springs bounced back to defeat Hancock and take the 3-2 win.
No stats were available for the Lady Indians wins.
Next up for Berkeley Springs was an away contest at Keyser on Tuesday, September 18 and then on Saturday, September 22 Berkeley Springs will travel back to Keyser for the 2018 Potomac Valley Conference Championships starting at 9 a.m.
