Hancock High School held the fourth annual Hancock High School Panther Review Talent Show last Friday evening, February 22, as a fundraiser for the Hancock Middle-Senior High School Bands.
Around 400 people, which was the largest audience to attend the talent show, showed up to watch 19 acts perform a variety talents during show.
Acts included singers, dancers, and ukulele players. The Hancock Daisy Troop and Tri-State Ukulectic Orchestra, joined by the “Young Ukes” from Berkeley Springs, were the larger acts, said band director Susan Mott.
Eighth grader Peyton McCoy started the show a dramatic sign language interpretation of the music from “The Greatest Showman” and the Panther High School Color Guard did a routine using different types of flags and sabers.
The Panther High School Drumline ended the show by playing trashcans to a piece called “Stinkin’ Garbage” much to the audience’s approval, Mott said.
The talent show lasted approximately two-hour talent show had a 30-minute intermission with concessions served before the show and during intermission.
