Heather Dawn Fleegle Cavey

Heather Dawn Fleegle Cavey, age 38, of Hancock, Md., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md.
Born December 20, 1982 in McConnellsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Emory Harrison Fleegle, Jr. and Shirley Ann Munday Fleegle of Hancock, Md.
She was a Christian.
Heather was a 2001 graduate of Hancock Middle/Senior School.
She studied Forensic Science and Psychology at Hagerstown Community College.
For many years Heather worked at Wells Fargo and Chase in Frederick, Md. She worked as an operator with Antietam Call Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Heather loved spending time with her family and friends. Just to name a few; Stacey, Rose, Lisa, Sheena and Matt Smith. She was likeable, funny and quick-witted. She will be forever loved and missed by many. Heather loved spending time in the park with her fur baby Max. She enjoyed reading the Twilight Saga and especially her Archie comics.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Anthony “Tony” Fleegle of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Emory H. Fleegle III and his wife Erika both of Needmore, Pa.; one sister, Dixie Fleegle Lanehart and her husband Charlie, both of Hancock; aunt to Huntley and Kendall Fleegle of Needmore, Cecilia Lanehart of Hancock and Brittney Thayer Trent of Altoona, Pa., and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Viola Munday, paternal grandparents, Emory and Nallie Fleegle, two uncles, one aunt, a sister-in-law, and two cousins.
Celebration of Life services will be conducted at a later date.
