1961-2020

Gregory Michael Shock, 59, of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Born February 25, 1961, he was the son of the late William Powell and Beatrice Margaret Cavanaugh Shock.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs.

He was a graduate of Patterson High School in Baltimore and worked for 30 years as a steamfitter/welder with Local #486 Plumbers & Steamfitters Union.

He was a member of a fishing club in Annapolis, Md., Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4244, both in Berkeley Springs. He liked riding his Harley.

Surviving are his daughter, Ashley Manger, Lutherville, Md.; two sisters, Irene Schmid, Colorado Springs, Colo. and Stephanie Krawczyk, Berkeley Springs; two grandsons, Jonathan “JP” Manger and Brooks Manger, both of Lutherville and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Merson and Terry Stump.

Services and interment will be private.
