Ethel J. Unger
1929-2018
Ethel Joy Unger, 89, of Johnstown, Pa., formerly of Hedgesville, died Saturday, August 11, 2018 at The Berkeley Springs Center LLC.
Born July 13, 1929 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Jacob “Sonny” and Evelyn Ethel Risinger Kesecker.
She attended Independent Church of God in Hedgesville.
She attended schools in Morgan County.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Unger, Clarksburg and Robert Unger, Martinsburg; three grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lawson Unger on August 22, 2002; one grandson, Kelly Unger; one sister, Bonnie Parker and five brothers, Wade Kesecker, Bradley Kesecker, Morris Kesecker, Cameron Kesecker and Fred Kesecker.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 14 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Ken Dyar officiated.
Burial was in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.
