Douglas J. Dunkin
1966-2020
Douglas James Dunkin, age 54, of Thurmont, Md., passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020, in Carlisle, Pa.
Born February 25, 1966, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Sandra Lorraine (Mahone) Dunkin, of Hagerstown, and the late William H. Dunkin, Sr.
He attended South Hagerstown High School; and worked as a Stone Mason for 35 years.
He loved to hunt, lift weights and sports.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Tyler N. Dunkin and his wife, Bethany, of Warfordsburg, Pa.; a daughter, Jasmine N. Dunkin, of Hancock, Md.; a brother, Rick Dunkin, of Maryland; and a sister, Crystal Jenkins and her husband, Jerry, of Hagerstown.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Dunkin, Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., followed by a memorial service at noon, with Pastor Jeff S. Summers officiating.
