1937-2018

Delores Ann Lucas, age 81, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

Born April 6, 1937, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Carl Flowers and Margaret (Roman) Flowers Mann; and the widow of Herbert G. Lucas, who passed away January 25, 2002.

Delores was a 1955 graduate of Hancock High School. She retired from London Fog, in Hancock, Md., after 25 years of employment there.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society; and she loved doing arts and crafts, quilting, and playing bingo. For many years she supplied fresh flowers to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Hancock, as well as the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, in Hancock, where she was a member.

She especially loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by three brothers, Carl R. Flowers and his wife, Shirley, Belvin L. Mann and his wife, Margaret, all of Hancock, Md., and Larry A. Mann and his wife, JoAnn, of Great Cacapon, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer E. Flowers, Harold L. Flowers, and Donald Mann; and one sister, Shelvy Jean McCusker.

The family received friends on Monday, October 8, 2018, from 10 until 11 a.m., at the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 14253 Exline Road, Hancock, Md., where services were held at 11. Rev. Philip Unger officiated.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
