Daniel I. Saunders
1956-2021
Daniel Ira “Dan” Saunders, 65, of Hancock, Md., passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Born January 2, 1956 in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Roy Franklin Saunders and Betty Jane (Christy) Saunders.
He attended Kemp Horn School in Smithsburg, Md.
He was formerly employed by Goodwill.
He enjoyed fishing, taking walks, riding bikes, and loved animals, especially his dogs.
Dan is survived by his wife, Pam Saunders, brothers, Dale Saunders, Leroy Saunders, Mark Saunders and Greg Saunders, sister, Roberta Crumbacker, stepchildren, Ashley Elliott and Paul Elliott, Jr., step-grandchildren, Kabella, Andrew and Ashton and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
