Paw Paw sophomore thrower Dalton Kasekamp made school history last Thursday, June 10 in the Class A State Track & Field Championships.
Kasekamp finished in eighth place in the discus with a throw of 116’4”. However, the talented thrower etched his name into the Paw Paw record books in the shot put with a throw of 41’3” to finish in sixth place earning all-state honors.
With two more years left Kasekamp could become Paw Paw’s first state champion in the throwing events as he continues to get stronger and hone his techniques.
