Cindy D. Landers
1959-2021
Cindy Diane Landers, age 61, of Mercersburg, Pa., passed away at her home on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Born November 16, 1959, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Franklin R. Young, Jr. and Joan A. (Shoemaker) Young; and the wife of Victor W. Landers, Jr.
She was a 1979 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
Cindy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Justin W. Landers and his wife, Ashley, and Allen R. Landers and his fiancé, Tiffany McClung, all of Mercersburg, Pa.; two grandchildren, Jersie L. Divel and Oaklyn L. Landers; two brothers, Stephen Young, of Mercersburg, and Marvin Stickel, of Capon Bridge, W.Va.; and one aunt, Carol Downs, of Falling Waters, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betsy Young; and grandparents, Virginia Daily, and Franklin R. Young, Sr.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at 12:00 noon, in the Rehobeth United Methodist Cemetery, in Mercersburg, Pa. Pastor Frank Kocek officiated.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.
