Charlotte L. Henry
1927-2019
Charlotte Lee Henry, age 92, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Clary Grove Nursing Home in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born January 4, 1927 in Morgan County. She was the daughter of the late Marvin Gilpin and Dora Mae Shade Everett.
She attended Wesleyan Chapel in Berkeley Springs.
She graduated from Berkeley Springs High School.
Charlotte worked for Dugan’s Grocery as a sales clerk in Berkeley Springs.
She enjoyed quilting and knitting.
She is survived by her husband Fred Roy Henry at home; one son, Gregory Alcott Henry and wife Janie of Berkeley Springs; one sister, Cecelia P. “Sis” Youngblood; one brother, Paul W. Everett of Texas.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Vincent and Earsel Everett.
Funeral Services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, WV with Pastor William C. Swope officiating. Interment was in Greenway Cemetery.
The family received friends on Friday at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesleyan Chapel, 75 Vernon Lane, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
