Bessie Rae Riley (Stotler), 51, of Paw Paw, W.Va., passed away at her home on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Craig Riley; children, Dalton Craig Riley and Delylah Sunshyne Richards; parents, Mary Skiver and stepfather, Mike Skiver, Sr., along with stepmother, Kathy Ginevan; her siblings, Shelly Brown (Ginevan), Luke Ginevan, Julie Ginevan, Andrew (AJ) Ginevan, along with Carolyn Brooks, Kim Barnes, and Mike Skiver, Jr. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that will miss her greatly.

Bessie is predeceased by her father, Dail Ginevan and her infant daughter, Kylie Jo Beth Richards.

Bessie was a daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was kind, giving, incredibly loving and funny. Bess was a talented and skilled artist who loved to draw. She was best known for her exceptional skill at crocheting. Bessie loved her animals, listening to music and eating crabs, but most of all she loved being with her children and family.

Bessie was a pure and humble soul, and she found peace and joy in the little things in life. She had a smile that made the corners of her eyes crinkle and you couldn’t help but smile back. If she wasn’t listening to music and crocheting, you could often find her weeding her garden or just talking with her dog, Mollie.

She meant so much to so many and will be greatly missed forever. May she rest in eternal peace.

Her body has been cremated and the family will commemorate her life at a later date.
