Alan Scott Ball

Alan Scott Ball, age 33, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born May 24, 1988, at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of Thelma Lee Schildtknecht Ball of Berkeley Springs and the late David John Ball.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Alan was a graduate of Dulaney High School in Cockeysville, Md.
He worked as a forklift operator with Berkeley Club Beverages, Inc.
He loved animals, enjoyed scuba diving, rock climbing and collecting fossils.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Michael Paul Ball; his maternal grandparents, Herald Richard and Mary Selina Zang Schildtknecht; his aunt, Joyce Ann Schildtknecht; his uncles, Richard David Schildtknecht and his wife Connie and Herald Scott Schildtknecht and his wife Michelle, all of Whitehall, Md.; two nephews and several cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Dorothy Brown Ball.
