Barring any changes from the WVSSAC the fall sports season of 2020-2021 will kick-off on Monday, August 17.
All Morgan County Middle School and High School student athletes in grades six through 12 are reminded that they must have a WVSSAC physical and a 2.0 GPA (from the second semester from the last school year). Athletes are to take their own mask, own water bottles and to maintain the social distancing guidelines due to the Covid 19.
Paw Paw schools
Cross Country – practice will start on August 17 at 9 a.m. at Paw Paw schools. All runners need proper running shoes.
Volleyball – practice will start on August 17. Middle school girls will practice from 4-5:30 p.m. and the high school varsity girls will practice from 6-7:30 p.m. Girls are to enter through the girl’s locker rooms door
Warm Springs Middle School
Cross Country – practice will start on Monday, August 17 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Warm Springs Middle School. All runners need proper running shoes for a two mile course. For more information call Coach Vickie Miller at 304-886-4106.
Volleyball – practice will start on August 17 from 1-3 p.m. at the Warm Springs Middle School gym. All potential volleyball players must have shoes for the gym and knee pads. The first few days of practices will also be tryouts for the JV and Varsity team.
Berkeley Springs High School
Cheer – practice will start on Monday, August 17 from 4-6 p.m. at gym.
Cross Country – practice will start on Monday, August 17 at 8 a.m. at the school track.
Football – practice will be from 2:45-5:15 p.m. on Monday, August 17.
Golf – practice will start on Monday, August 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cacapon State Park at the Club House. Any questions contact Coach Dale McCumbee at 304-671-6848.
Boys soccer – practice will start on Monday, August 17 at the soccer field at Warm Springs Middle School 3 -4:30 p.m.
Girls soccer – practice on Monday, August 17 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Warm Springs Intermediate School.
Volleyball – practice began using flex days to start the 2020 season starting Monday, August 10 through Friday, 14. These practices will be from 6-8 p.m. each day and they will be voluntary. Be ready to step on the court at 6 p.m. Check-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. You will not need to have a physical to participate during this flex week. Tryouts for the fall season will begin on Monday, August 17 and you will need to have a physical by the first practice. Do not buy new shoes yet. It will explained later.
