Wanda J. Stotler
Wanda Jean “Jeannie” Stotler, 78, of Great Cacapon, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at her home in Great Cacapon, while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born December 1, 1940 in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Neil St. Clair and Bessie Rebecca Moss Fields.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Great Cacapon.
She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and had worked seasonally at Little Miss and Aulabaugh Brothers Canning Factories in Berkeley Springs.
She had been a homemaker for most of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald Charles Stotler, at home; her children, Donald Stotler and Charles “Chuck” Stotler, both of Great Cacapon; one brother, Clyde “Casey” Fields, Berkeley Springs; two grandchildren, Scott Stotler and Charles Stotler, both of Great Cacapon and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters, Edna Fox, Pauline McManus, Anna Mongan, Thelma “Tootie” Trail, Genevieve Fields and Edith Whisner and five brothers, George Fields, John Fields, James Fields, Bobby Fields and Harry Fields.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, June 22 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 5371 Central Avenue, Great Cacapon with Pastor Steve Dawson and Pastor Dick Voorhaar officiating, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
