Sandra K. Ridgeway
Sandra Kaye “Suzie” Ridgeway, 64, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, August 10, 2018 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born July 21, 1954 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilard and Carrie Marie Stotler Fleece.
She was a member of Paw Paw United Methodist Church.
She attended schools in Berkeley Springs. She worked for Vanguard in Berkeley Springs as a seamstress. She liked sewing and making crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Arthur David “Hoppy” Ridgeway, Sr., at home; two sons, Timothy Ridgeway, Okinawa, Japan and Jason Ridgeway, Clear Brook, Va.; one granddaughter, Sophia Ridgeway, Okinawa and one sister, Margaret Snyder, Hedgesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shelby Shambaugh and Ruth Courtney and six brothers, Charles “Stoney” Fleece, Freddie “Boot” Fleece, Eugene “Gene” Fleece, Woodrow “Pete” Fleece, Carl “Bill” Fleece and James “Rich” Fleece.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, Wednesday, August 15 at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 16 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dick Voorhaar officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
